Today's #oneblood moment is
…brought to you by the letter F, as in fire.
Today I blazed on a rooftop with Idris Alba, John Forte, Taye Diggs, and Leon. They spoke in Wolof for over an hour as they discussed a plan to forcibly remove their inept president. When I asked for a summary in English, Forte said of the president, ” He can go in a nice fashion or he can leave by fire.”

Raq!! Did you know her already?! Tell her I said HIHIHIHIHI!
!!! I knew of her. I’ve been an admirer of her cultural work for many years. But last night was my first time meeting her. I will be sure to tell her!
Dakar, Senegal
I made it safely to Dakar with the help of Oncle Frederique and Tante Charlotte, the uncle and Mother of my homeboy Amadou. I was also greeted by two angels, Raquel Wilson-Sow and Ameth. They got me from the flim-flam men to la maison de Diop. الحمد لله
If you are not familiar with Raquel, get there. She is the founder of DOPE SWAN and several other award winning Cultural Arts and...
Parisians are beautiful people..
I heard all the French stereotypes and warnings about the lack of hospitality… The truth is its normal in that respect. Not unlike NYC, some people are hospitable, others have stank attitudes. In my opinion the Parisians I have encountered are too busy looking fly to be bothered by making me feel welcomed or not. I like to think of it as an elegant indifference.
My new thing is telling...

I became inspired by my first walk to the Eiffel Tower. So I made a very, very short film. The lights had gone off but there was a brother drumming. I didn’t get his name but I dropped my info in his hat. Maybe he will contact me so that I can credit his music.
Enjoy.
